Actress, producer, and entrepreneur Eva Longoria and her husband, media executive José Bastón, have listed their Beverly Hills estate for $22.888 million. The couple purchased the almost 1.5-acre property for $13.5 million over five years ago and are aiming to almost double their investment. The sprawling contemporary mansion features eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and two powder rooms across 11,000 square feet.

Located in Benedict Canyon, the house is accessible via a winding private lane, electronic gates, and a camera-enabled security system. The two-story structure is a pared-down, minimalist version of a grand Spanish Colonial villa. However, it was renovated with warm, organic textures, luxe finishes, and modern artworks.

Some of the property’s highlights include a climate-controlled wine room, a sophisticated home office, a Taschen library, and a media lounge. The backyard boasts an azure mosaic-tiled pool and spa, a poolside cabana, a lighted tennis court covered in artificial turf, a fenced paddle ball court, and a gym housed in an L-shaped glass pavilion.

Longoria’s favorite room in the house is the kitchen, which has plenty of counter space, a sunny breakfast area, and a separate, spacious prep kitchen. The backyard also includes a tented cabana with a convenient beverage station, several children’s play structures, and panoramic cross-canyon mountain views from a huge deck.

The property is available through Eddie Fallah and Danny Brown of Compass. Longoria and Bastón also own a Hollywood Hills compound, a home in Mexico City, and a property above Malibu’s Zuma Beach that Longoria purchased 15 years ago. Longoria is best known for her role as Gabrielle Solis on “Desperate Housewives” and has recently launched a line of cookware and a brand of tequila.
